Old Moon Quarterly
Old Moon Quarterly is a small, independent online magazine devoted to publishing weird sword-and-sorcery fiction set in a historical paranormal setting or a secondary-world, with a focus on well-rounded characters driving strange action.
Created by a trio of friends with a love for weird fictions, both elder and younger, Old Moon particularly treasures the intersection of literary and genre styles present in weird fiction and its cousin, sword-and-sorcery: horror, fantasy, science-fiction, post-modern, pre-modern, and beyond. We value fiction that presents vividly drawn characters in conflicts both internal and external, set in worlds ranging from realist to the outlandish.
A small but ambitious venture, Old Moon will seek out weird fiction, poetry and artwork to showcase because we believe all voices, no matter how off the beaten path, or how strange, deserve a venue.
